    World-renowned MRI pioneer Professor Smith has joined the Roc Aberdeen team in July 2016; with his background undoubtedly making an outstanding contribution to the Radiology and Sports Medicine department. He pioneered the clinical application of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), starting the world’s first clinical trial of MRI in 1980 and the world’s first diagnostic MRI service at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary in 1981. In addition to being a Consultant Radiologist specializing in Musculoskeletal Radiology, with a MRI practice in London, he is also a qualified Sports Medicine Physician.

Laura Court

    Laura Court is a bona fide Dietitian and Fitness Instructor. At ROC Clinic, Laura undertakes general nutrition and dietetic consultations, sports specific nutritional advice and is an integral part of the Fibromyalgia Service we provide. She is also a member of the British Dietetic Association and is registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Nicola Rhind

  • Qualifications: BSc (hons) Physiotherapy | MCSP.

  • BIO:

    Nicola Rhind is a Chartered physiotherapist, with a BSc (hons) in Physiotherapy from the Robert Gordon University Aberdeen; she has been working in the musculoskeletal field for 17 years. Her interests are shared between chronic pain and sports medicine. She is part of the committee of the Stonehaven running club and is a cross-country school coach for Arduthie Primary School. As a sports physiotherapist, her experience involves both NHS and private work.
