Professional Profile and Experience
Dr. Ridley graduated in Medicine from Barts and The London Medical School in 1998, having also achieved a First-Class BSc in Neuroscience.
She undertook her 3 year GP training in Essex and returned to London to work for 7 years as an NHS GP in the Marylebone area, so is no stranger to Harley Street. She moved back to Essex to bring up her family whilst working as a NHS GP partner. In 2015, she started to work privately providing Functional Medicine consultations. Her patient list has been growing exponentially since.
Her functional approach is to treat the whole body, not just the symptoms, which lends itself well to managing chronic illness and medically unexplained symptoms in particular where conventional medicine has been unable to offer full return to health and wellbeing.
Dr Ridley is a member of the Institute of Functional Medicine. She is dedicated to patient care and to seeking out and treating the root causes of disease and dysfunction.
