  • Professional Profile and Experience

John Walker works in Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) program implementation and management within the oil and gas industry. To date, he has managed HSEQ projects from FEED through EPCI as well as operations on a global scale to include Scotland, Europe, South East Asia, Africa and the Americas.
John’s background includes development and delivery of leadership programs, risk assessment and mitigation, compliance audits and corrective actions, process safety integrity, personnel training and development and implementation of health and safety procedures and policies.
John was awarded an IOSH fellowship based on collaborative efforts in the development of a registration program for offshore medics in the North Sea in conjunction with the HSE OGUK PSA and Robert Gordon University. He has delivered HSEQ presentations at local IOSH branches and at international conferences on health and safety.
John’s goal is to continually raise awareness of prevention in all HSEQ issues, and to improve standards, regulations, systems, and practices among team members and managers, leading naturally to better outcomes over the long term. So far, John has been successful on many fronts and has a demonstrated track record of improvements to overall performance in multiple environments, such as reductions in operational costs, as well as in workplace accidents and incidents.
John thrives on new challenges and is eager to expand his experience while applying his skill sets to new and varied work environments.
