    Mr Kumar Kunasingam graduated in Medicine and Surgery from Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital with a Bachelor of Science in Experimental Pathology and Genetics. He initially taught anatomy under Professor Harold Ellis at Guys, King's and St Thomas' Medical School whilst training in General Surgery and Orthopaedics within the London Deanery and South East Thames.
    Mr Kumar Kunasingam underwent sub-speciality training in foot and ankle surgery in Sydney, Australia which included minimally invasive (keyhole) techniques. Whilst in Sidney he was involved in the treatment of elite athletes.

    He played college rugby and hockey at a high level and still plays club hockey when family time allows. This passion for sport nurtured his interest and qualification in Sports Medicine after completing his Orthopaedic training. On his return to the UK from Australia, he also completed a second fellowship in trauma surgery at King's College Hospital, a UK major trauma centre.

    In 2015-2016, Mr Kumar Kunasingam and colleagues set up the Foot and Ankle unit at Croydon University Hospital. His practice covers all aspects of foot and ankle surgery, striving for excellence using evidence-based methods. He is an expert in minimally invasive surgery allowing the majority of his cases to be performed as day case procedures with quick recovery times. He performs his initial consultations and imaging assessment from our offices in Harley Street. He currently operates in Surrey private hospitals.
    His background as a medically qualified and surgically trained sub-specialist in both Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine allows him to holistically manage all aspects of foot and ankle problems including the medical and recovery factors around it.
