Professional Profile and Experience
Dr Mike Jones is a GP - a registered Medical Practitioner with an understanding of and experience in the provision of general practice, surgical conditions and improving quality of primary care delivery.
Dr Jones graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2004, with an additional honours degree in Medical Sciences. He pursued a career in surgery in both Nottingham and Sydney, Australia, and attained Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons, before finding his true calling as a GP.
Dr Jones has written reports and presented internationally on the subject of improving quality of healthcare. Prior to joining ROC, Dr Jones was the Primary Care Lead for UCLPartners - London’s Academic Health Science Centre. There he helped to translate cutting-edge research and innovation into measurable health and wealth gain for both patients and population. Dr Jones is currently a Generation Q Fellow – with a commitment to effective medical leadership and quality improvement.
In addition to his work at ROC, Dr Jones also works in the NHS as a GP for one of London’s leading NHS partnerships. Until 2017 Dr Jones was the Local Medical Director of a large GP practice based on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park where, in additional to offering general and emergency consultations, he led on clinical quality and governance.
Dr Jones is a strong proponent of personalised healthcare and believes that patient empowerment and shared decision-making lead to healthier lives and better outcomes. He consults patients of all ages with a particular interest in preventative male health, erectile dysfunction and low testosterone syndromes.
