Professional Profile and Experience
Dr Wassim Fayed is the current Medical Director of ROC London Clinic and he ensures that the ROC London Clinic performs to the level expected of ROC and meets the demands and challenges of modern medicine at an ultimate personal level of healthcare delivery.
Dr Fayed attended Bart’s and the Royal London Hospital Medical School in year 2000. Upon graduation he worked as a hospital physician for 12 years and became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians in 2006. His hospital experience is vast, at a senior level, having undertaken 3 years as a Specialist Registrar in Respiratory Medicine and 2 years in Care of the Elderly.
Keen to keep a holistic approach to one’s care, Dr Wassim Fayed left Hospital Medicine for General Practice in 2012. Dr Fayed felt that General Practice would offer him the best opportunity to practice medicine in line with his beliefs: Prevention is better than Cure and that an Integrative approach is what gives best results.
Dr Fayed has practiced as a private Harley Street family physician since 2015 and joined ROC in November 2019. Since 2015 he gained a reputation for his excellent clinical care, as well as his listening skills and empathy. Prior to joining ROC he was the Clinical Lead for a private Harley Street Clinic for 2 years. He regularly advises a number of colleagues with their complex consultations.
His strength comes from his in-depth knowledge of complex medicine and his integrative approach. He is a great believer in incorporating new medical developments in his assessments whilst keeping grounded when applying those to individuals. One glove doesn’t fit all and he adapts his approach to suit each patient’s needs.
Dr Wassim Fayed is fluent and able to consult in Arabic as well as French.
In his spare time Dr Fayed enjoys spending time with his family, running and reading.
