Fiona qualified as a physiotherapist in 2006 from Coventry University. She then worked with the National Health Service at Buckinghamshire Trust and at The Royal National Orthopaedic Trust in North London where she gained experience in a variety of musculoskeletal disciplines within the physiotherapy profession.

Fiona’s career has allowed her to successfully build a vast range of musculoskeletal skills through outpatient specific rotations at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital is a centre of clinical excellence and here she had the opportunity to gain highly specialised knowledge and develop a diverse range of skills within a musculoskeletal setting.

In 2013, Fiona began working in the private sector as a senior physiotherapist in Central and West London clinics. During this year she started her own business called “London Hydrotherapy” focusing on water-based physiotherapy. London Hydrotherapy is a private hydrotherapy service offering adult musculoskeletal rehabilitation for a wide range of conditions. Special pools in Central London with temperatures maintained between 34-36°C are used to help speed up rehabilitation.

Fiona is a forward thinking and approachable physiotherapist who is passionate about treating a variety of conditions, ranging from acute injuries to chronic musculoskeletal problems. She has been able to gain experience when treating sports injuries and applying her extensive knowledge to pre and post-operative surgical procedures. She is committed to continuing her professional development and keeping up to date with current research in order to provide an excellent standard of care.

Fiona has gained postgraduate training in acupuncture, soft tissue release and Pilates as well as various hydrotherapy qualifications.
