Are you an expat in London?

This blog is written by our clinicians and aims to keep patients informed with up to date information on medical conditions. The editor of the blog is Dr Cristina Romete.

There is nothing more frustrating than moving to another country, getting ill and being uncertain of where to start.
To most Americans moving to UK, the concept of the NHS is alien.
Registering with the NHS is also a big hurdle, if one is to be successful. We have many times come across expats in London who were unsure of how to use their international health insurance or if indeed whether these could be used.

ROC Private Clinic is highly experienced in providing care to the expat population. We provide family doctor services as well as specialist services.

In terms of specialist services we work with experts in their fields, who will consult you either at our clinic or at a near-by location.

The family services are the backbone of the clinic. We provide a comprehensive service inclusive of:

  • Consultations for any matters, irrespective of your age
  • Comprehensive preventative healthcare
  • Sexual Health Clinic
  • Antenatal and postnatal care
  • Paediatric consultations
  • Home visits
  • Laboratory investigations and scanning

Our doctors are available to consult you face to face, over the telephone or advise you via email. We recommend that soon after registration you attend for a detailed appointment with one of our doctors.

The ROC Harley Street Clinic is open Monday to Friday 8am-6pm with a late general clinic on Thursdays until 8pm. We do direct billing to insurers and will keep your involvement to a minimum in order to make the process as smooth as possible.

Our network of clinicians has been developed over the past 10 years and we continuously refresh our network in keeping with the latest developments in medicine.
